6 HARD Summer 2022 Can’t Miss Undercard Acts

HARD Summer 2022 mainbar

Next weekend marks the return of HARD Summer 2022 with a stacked lineup at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino from Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31 (tickets still available). The lineup is topped by Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Uzi Vert, and Porter Robinson but also features a bunch of heavy hitters down the bill like Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead b2b Subtronics, Chris Lake, Madeon, GRiZ, NGHTMRE, Tchami, 21 Savage, Jai Wolf, and more. You know all those big names so we are going to try and point out some of the lower print names you definitely need to check out in our Can’t Miss Undercard Acts.

Make sure you drink lots of water and take care of your friends and yourselves — it’s going to be a hot one!

FRIDAY, JULY 29

MOORE KISMET
6:45 to 8:00 PM at HARDER Stage

Moore Kismet dropped their long-awaited debut album UNIVERSE just about a month ago, a record that is a musical culmination of their life experiences over the past 17 years of his life. It is a sonically diverse record from Dancing Astronaut’s Breakout Artist in 2020, and there’s a reason why they became one of the youngest performers to ever play EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland. I caught them in the DoLab at Coachella this year and was blown away — you won’t want to miss this set.

KOFFEE
9:15 to 10:00 PM at Purple Stage

Mikayla Victoria Simpson aka Koffee is a Jamaican multi-hyphenate with a vibe that is perfect for getting the party started. She also uses her music to highlight problems in the world lyrically. She’s been cosigned by some of the biggest reggae acts of today like Protoje and Chronixx and she might be the next big contemporary reggae star. She has really good flow and is an act you won’t want to miss Friday.

SATURDAY, JULY 30

LP GIOBBI
7:00 to 8:15 PM at HARDER Stage

She calls herself a “one-woman jam band” and that is an accurate description. The Oregon-born, Austin-based piano house queen has played a multitude of festivals over the years and is something unique on every lineup she appears on. The set is always high energy and in a world where too many DJs try and act cool with their sunglasses on and no discernible enjoyment, she always has an infectious smile like someone who is just really loving what they do. Get your vibes up Saturday at her set!

LSDREAM
10:15 to 11:30 PM at Green Stage

Previously known in the trap scene as Brillz, the LSDREAM project was a shift in genres to bass music with a trippier aesthetic. His mid-tempo bass sound lends itself well to the psychedelic vibes he is going for. He’s about five years into the LSDREAM project and it will give you chills. Especially if you popped a tab.

SUNDAY, JULY 31

DRAMA
5:20 to 6:20 PM at HARD Stage

One of my absolute favorites on the lineup, we’ve covered the Chicago based R&B and dance-pop duo DRAMA a couple of times here at Pass The Aux. Na’el Shehade produces some incredibly emotional beats that are matched perfectly by vocalist Via Rosa. You will feel all the feels, guaranteed, if you catch this set. This will probably be much more mellow than most of what is going on at HARD Summer and a welcome reprieve from all the heavier stuff if that’s what you’re seeking out.

EVAN GIIA
6:15 to 7:15 PM at HARDER Stage

Rising electro-pop singer Evan Giia had her breakout single “Westworld” released by ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective four years ago and it’s been a fun rise to watch ever since. The classically-trained opera singer’s voice is unique and she’s made fans at festivals across the country like Coachella, Firefly, EDC, Bonnaroo, CRSSD and elsewhere. She’s been a guest vocalist live on stage with ODESZA, Louis the Child, Jai Wilf, and Big Wild. The hooks are plentiful in her music and it will be a fun dance party Sunday.
