Adult Swim Fest 2018 lineup: Run the Jewels, Thundercat top bill

The inaugural Adult Swim Fest 2018 lineup is here, and it’s coming to DTLA.

Taking place at Row DTLA on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7, the new festival will feature top stand-up comedian Hannibal Burress, as well as musical performances from the likes of Run the Jewels, Thundercat.

UPDATE: On July 17, the festival rounded out its lineup, adding Open Mike Eagle and T-Pain (performing tracks from Freaknik: The Musical) to their Friday preview night, Flying Lotus, Mastodon, and Clams Casino to Saturday’s lineup (among others), and Neko Case andChaos Chaos to Sunday’s bill. There are still spots to fill in.

UPDATE: On Aug. 18, the festival announced their full lineup, which includes the addition of the Rick and Morty Musical Ricksperience taking place on the Sunday portion of the lineup. It includes a 37-piece orchestra, which is nuts.

Other performers include Zola Jesus, Julianna Barwick, and Big Freedia, as well as Com Truise and Dan Deacon. You can check out the announced bill below!

The festival is 18+ only and is a music and comedy festival that should be interesting and worth attending. Two-day general admission passes are priced at $230 plus fees. Single-day general admission passes are priced at $75 — buy early before they go up to $99. There’s a Friday night preview that is available for $49, but it’s also included in the two-day price pass. Tickets can be found here.
