A double-dose of soul is coming to the Fonda Theatre on Thursday, October 18 as Allen Stone and Nick Waterhouse are teaming up for a show there! UPDATE: A second show has been added for Wednesday, October 17!
Allen Stone is fresh off a mesmerizing set at Arroyo Seco Weekend on Sunday afternoon. He is set to release a new album sometime this year, though no name or release date has been given yet. He shared the first single from the album earlier this year called “Brown Eyed Lover”, which has a deeper groove than much of his earlier work.
Nick Waterhouse hasn’t released a record since 2016’s gem Never Twice, but in January of this year he went into the studio to begin recording his fourth studio album. I caught him as part of a bill supporting the ACLU a while back and was blown away by his sound — it teleports you to another time.
