AlunaGeorge playing Troubadour in November

Aluna AlunaGeorge Troubadour 2018 mainbar

AlunaGeorge will return to Los Angeles for an intimate show at the Troubadour on November 27!

The British electro-soul duo dropped their latest EP Champagne Eyes just last week. Their first independently-released project, Champagne Eyes explores themes of identity, power and sex with dreamy R&B vibes and features guest appearances from Baauer, Bryson Tiller and Cautious Clay.

Last month saw the duo release the video for “Superior Emotion”, the track featuring Cautious Clay. You can check it out at the bottom of this post. It’s much more of a slow burn than most of their back catalog — but just as sexy as we’ve come to expect.

In addition to Los Angeles, AlunaGeorge will play a handful of shows before what we can only predict (and hope) will be a full festival season in 2019. Check out the full tour schedule below.

I caught AlunaGeorge a couple years back as part of Red Bull Sound Select’s #30DaysInLA (we miss you!) and they brought out a full brass section for part of the show. It was epic. Their 2016 album I Remember was one of my favorites of the year and they toured heavily in support of it in the ensuing years.

Aluna Francis and George Reid play the Troubadour on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Doors for the all-ages show open at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25 plus fees, and go on sale Friday, October 12 at 10 AM PST. Grab them quick because this show is sure to sell out immediately. It’s not often you get to see an act like this in such an intimate venue.
