The Arroyo Seco Weekend 2018 lineup is here and it’s got quite a diverse assortment of names!

Headlining this year’s festival are Neil Young & Promise of the Real, Jack White, Kings of Leon, and Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters. The second-year Pasadena festival takes place Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 at the Brookside at the Rose Bowl.

Other intriguing names on the lineup are the Pretenders, Gary Clark Jr., Alanis Morissette, Belle and Sebastian, Third Eye Blind, Kamasi Washington, The Specials, Seu Jorge, Shakey Graves, Violent Femmes, Capital Cities, and The Bangles.

This lineup is the opposite of rain on your wedding day.

I attended Arroyo Seco Weekend 2017 and had a really good time. The festival had a real family-friendly feel to it. The lone drawback was how entitled this festival crowd was — they set up their blankets 25 feet from the main stage and became indignant if you stepped across their blankets to get closer. My hope is that the festival team draws a line this year where blankets can’t be setup in front of.
