Band of Horses, Best Coast pack punch at Palladium

Band of Horses Palladium 2021 mainbar

Seattle indie rock legends Band of Horses are on the verge of releasing their sixth studio album in a few months, and they made a pit stop Friday night at the Hollywood Palladium with LA-based Best Coast opening things up!

Band of Horses release Things Are Great on January 21 via BMG. It’s their first new album in more than five years. Though they only played one track from the new record, fans got their money’s worth as the set spanned 17 songs, including favorites like “The Funeral”. They even performed a Brooks & Dunn cover — “Neon Moon”.

Best Coast performed for the first time in LA since a show in February 2020 right before the covid-19 pandemic shut the whole live touring world down. A large crowd made sure to be in the building to catch their set.
