The third edition of BeachLife Festival returns May 13-15, 2022, after selling out last year’s run in September. Redondo Beach’s rock, pop, reggae and jam spectacular announced its acts today with headliners Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins and Steve Miller Band coupled with red hot acts as well as established superstars including Black Pumas, Lord Huron, Cold War Kids, Milky Chance, 311, Stone Temple Pilots, Vance Joy, Sheryl Crow, UB40 feat. Ali Campbell, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Cannons, Atlas Genius, Capital Cities, Ozomatli, The Allman Betts Band, Matisyahu, The Record Company, Jim Lindberg (Pennywise), Rita Wilson and many more.

Steve Miller Band, UB40 and The Record Company were initially set to play the 2020 version which never happened due to the pandemic but two years later they are much-anticipated additions to the lineup. Local Newport Beach band Sugar Ray joins the lineup for the third time, making them the only act to appear at each BeachLife since its inception.

The inaugural BeachLife Festival held in 2019 featured heavyweight acts Bob Weir and Wolf Bros, Brian Wilson and Willie Nelson while 2021 showcased Jane’s Addiction, Counting Crows and Ziggy & Stephen Marley. 2021 was a huge hit and our coverage includes a review of the festival here and a discussion with one of the BeachLife co-founders here.
