Back in late June, I got the opportunity to see rising sibling synthpop duo BROODS perform a handful of songs at the Honda Stage at Capitol Records, all of which come from their second full-length album Conscious. Videos for tracks “Free” and “Heartlines” have just been posted to the duo’s VEVO page on YouTube, take a look at the bottom of this post.
I’ve seen the two perform about a half-dozen times and they never fail to bring it. Their new album is just about on par with their first full release Evergreen and showcases just why they’ve received so much acclaim as of late.
They toured with Ellie Goulding earlier in the year and are about to begin their own headlining tour. They come back to Los Angeles on August 23 with a performance at The Novo (formerly Club Nokia). Tickets are currently on sale, priced at $27.50. The show is all ages and doors open at 7 PM.
