New Zealand sibling synthpop duo BROODS have been gearing up to share some new music — and LA fans will get an early treat to it later this month!
BROODS announced a show that will take place Wednesday, September 26 at The Roxy. This is as intimate as you’ll get to see them, given they played a much larger show at The Novo the last time they came to LA.
The duo had been mostly quiet since releasing their excellent sophomore album Conscious until they shared a catchy new single “Peach” at the beginning of August. They just dropped the video along with their LA show announcement (give it a watch and listen at the bottom of this post). That is the first single from their third record, slated for an early 2019 release. The band is also making the jump to Neon Gold/Atlantic Records after a split from Capitol Records.
The duo has been living in LA since the release of that record, so The Roxy gig will be a sort of homecoming before they play a Neon Gold gig in NY on September 29.
Tickets to see BROODS at The Roxy on Wednesday, September 26 are priced at $20.00 and go on sale Friday, September 7 at 10 AM Pacific Time. The show is all ages and doors open at 8 PM.
