Claud delivers the good to hyped-up Troubadour crowd

Rising indie pop singer Claud played at the historic Troubadour on Wednesday night. Claud is an up and coming musician who was the first artist to sign to Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records. Bridgers turned up at the show in the audience as well.

KALI was an incredible opener to get the crowd moving. Along with their two-piece band, they played a wide range of songs, including their hit song “Back to the Start”, which was a fan favorite. This is just the start of KALI’s career, but their confidence on stage and ethereal persona will take them a long way.

Claud had a bold stage entrance, dancing onto “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor. It was a fun way to get the crowd hyped up before Claud sang “Overnight”, a favorite off their album, Super Monster. Claud had a great mix of songs throughout their set, but a memorable one being “That’s Mr. Bitch to You”, with Claud jumping all around the stage getting the crowd hyped up as the song went on. Claud definitely had a show to remember at the Troubadour, and I cannot wait to see where their career takes them in the near future.
