Coachella 2023 lineup makes history

The 23rd annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (coming April 14-16 and April 21-23, 2023) just made history with its most diverse trio of headliners to date. The Empire Polo Club will be buzzing this spring for global superstar Bad Bunny who is the first-ever top-billed Latin artist (and highest-grossing touring artist of 2022 in North America and globally), Korean darlings BLACKPINK (who are not only the first K-Pop headliners but also the first-ever girl group to headline) and Long Beach singer/rapper Frank Ocean. Calvin Harris, who was a headliner back in 2016 also returns to the desert with a highly-anticipated slot.

An impressive array of acts across genres made the roster including familiar names like previous 2002 and 2007 headliner Björk, Gorillaz who headlined in 2010 and Spanish hitmaker Rosalía, who just wrapped a massive global tour (and debuted at Coachella in 2019). Talent across pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic, Latin, Afrobeat and more are represented with Burna Boy, The Chemical Brothers, Kali Uchis, Eric Prydz, Porter Robinson, Kaytranada and supergroup boygenius (Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus). 80s icons Blondie join the lineup this year, which like The Chemical Brothers and Underworld offer a glimpse of nostalgia and tastemaker status which have been popular in recent years with Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Kamasi Washington, David Byrne, Jean-Michel Jarre, Toots and the Maytals and New Order.

Elsewhere, there really is something for every attendee who drives or flies in from near or far including The Kid LAROI, Chris Lake, Becky G, Fisher, $uicideboy$, Dominic Fike, Charli XCX, Metro Boomin, A Boogie, Wet Leg, Jai Paul, Sofi Tukker, Yves Tumor, Remi Wolf, Willow, Latto, FKJ, Chromeo, GloRilla, MUNA, Tobe Nwigwe, Pusha T, Jackson Wang, Eladio Carrión, SG Lewis, the Garden, Jai Wolf, Mura Masa, Christine and the Queens, the Blaze, TEST PILOT, 070 Shake, Angèle, Yung Lean, Tale Of Us, Boris Brejcha, Maseo Plex, Diljit Dosanjh, 2manydjs, Yaeji, Rae Sremmurd, YUNGBLUD, Marc Rebillet, Elderbrook, Stick Figure, BENEE, Hiatus Kaiyote, Kenny Beats, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Big Wild, Idris Elba, CANNONS, Malaa, Snail Mail, MK, Two Friends and so many more.
