Desert Daze 2019 lineup: Wu-Tang Clan, Ween, Flaming Lips top bill

After months of rolling out their lineup bit by bit, the Desert Daze 2019 lineup was just fully released!

Headlining the festival’s second year at Lake Perris in Moreno Beach, Calif. are the Wu-Tang Clan (performing 36 Chambers in full), Ween (performing Chocolate & Cheese in full), The Flaming Lips (performing The Soft Bulletin), and Devo (billed as their farewell tour).

The festival takes place October 10 to October 13. Other new additions to the lineup include Khruangbin (the first time I ever saw them was at Desert Daze two years ago), The Locust, Alvvays, Moses Sumney, Pussy Riot, and more! This is in addition to previous announced names like Flying Lotus (in 3D), Stereolab, Animal Collective, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, and The Black Angels.

I attended the past two years of Desert Daze, including last year’s being the first at gorgeous Lake Perris. Though it was rocky at first because the weather canceled Tame Impala, the rest of the weekend was an absolute blast and easily my favorite festival of 2018. I expect things to be even better this time around having gotten that experience under their belts.

Passes are currently on sale. Tier 2 weekend general admission passes are $289 and will increase to $309. The Visitor Bundle (one weekend GA and camping pass) is $358. There are a slew of other options as well, and you can find them all here.

Daily lineups were released Sept. 13, and you can check them out below. Single-day passes are on sale now. Single-day general admission passes start at $99, with single-day Azurite passes starting at $199. Get your single-day passes here.
