Diplo collab with Jungle and Damian Lazarus, drop summer jam

Jungle Palladium 2019 mainbar

My Song of the Summer has arrived. Diplo has dropped a new collaboration with nu disco rising legends Jungle and Damian Lazarus, and it’ll surely get your heart pumping and your feet moving.

“Don’t Be Afraid” is the track — and it’s a banger. “We met Diplo in LA a few years back and got chatting about working together,” a member of Jungle says. “We sent him a few ideas that we’d been cooking up and he took a melody and worked it in this banger. We’re really happy everyone else can enjoy it now too.”

The track is the latest offering from Diplo’s house and classic dance label Higher Ground, which he started in 2019. The song will be part of a forthcoming Diplo album.

The video was directed by J Lloyd of Jungle and Charlie Di Placido — and has a similar vibe to lead Jungle single “Keep Moving” from their forthcoming record Loving In Stereo — which drops August 13.

Diplo is playing the upcoming Day Trip Festival in Los Angeles — the first full-scale music festival to take place in the LA area since the pandemic brought the live music scene to a halt in March 2020. He also has a show at Exchange LA on Saturday, July 3. It is sold out!

Jungle is playing two nights at the Greek Theatre on Thursday, October 28 and Friday, October 29. Tickets are still available to both shows.
