Feist drops new song, announces two May dates in LA

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Feist shared a new single ahead of the April 28 release of her upcoming new album, Pleasure. Along with the single came the announcement of an intimate tour, which includes two stops in Los Angeles.

Feist will play the Palace Theater on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6. The new song that dropped is called “Century” and features Jarvis Cocker, who is mostly known for being the frontman in Britpop band Pulp. Feist’s signature vocals follow a dirty guitar riff that starts the track. Listen to “Century” below:

Pleasure will be Feist’s first full-length record in six years, since putting out the critically-acclaimed record Metals in 2009, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard charts and earned her numerous end-of-the-year honors.

Tickets to see Feist at the Palace Theater go on sale Friday, April 7 at 10 AM Pacific Time. There is a LiveNation pre-sale on Thursday, April 6 beginning at 10 AM PT using the password PARTY. You can also catch Feist at Eaux Claires Festival on June 17.
