Jorja Smith, Tom Misch team up at The Novo between Coachella dates

When the Coachella 2018 lineup dropped, we circled Jorja Smith and Tom Misch as two acts with big-time breakthrough potential at this year’s festival. Now, you’ll get a chance to see the two rising Brits on the same bill between their Coachella performances as part of Goldenvoice Presents April — the promoter’s Coachella side shows series.

Jorja Smith and Tom Misch will play The Novo on Wednesday, April 18. Both performers have an insane amount of buzz as they get ready to play their first massive American festival. By the time April rolls around, both will likely be able to justify being a line or two higher on the Coachella 2018 poster than they were when it dropped at the beginning of January.

Smith doesn’t even have a debut record to her name yet. But she’s collaborated with the likes of Drake, Kali Uchis, and most recently Stormzy on a track that was Zane Lowe’s World Record on Beats Radio. She’s an R&B singer with crossover appeal likened to Lauryn Hill.

Misch is a multi-talented jack-of-all-trades multi-instrumentalist with a great voice. He draws inspiration from J. Dilla and James Blake and will make for a great daytime tent slot at this year’s Coachella. His album Geography drops just in time for the festival and for this show at The Novo, dropping April 6.

Tickets to see Jorja Smith and Tom Misch at The Novo on Wednesday, April 18 are priced from $35.00 to $45.00 and go on sale Friday, February 16 at 10 AM Pacific Time. It’s an all-ages show and the doors open at 8 PM. Coachella is also the only announced American festival for both of these acts, so don’t miss your chance to catch them!
