Jungle shares videos from El Rey gig on Last Call With Carson Daly

Everyone’s favorite UK disco gods Jungle played a special intimate show to close out 2017 at the El Rey Theatre in December — and Last Call With Carson Daly has uploaded two videos from the show — including a new banger!

It was one of my very favorite shows of 2017, and one that I felt extremely lucky to be at. I still remember rockin’ the rail at Bonnaroo 2015 with a black eye I sustained at BottleRock Napa a few weeks earlier, and their high-energy sets at Coachella a few months earlier.

One of the new songs they played that night that Last Call With Carson Daly captured is the perfectly-named “House in LA”. Check it out below:

Jungle is preparing for a massive 2018 that includes a new tour and a couple of stops at spring festivals — like Coachella 2018 and Bonnaroo 2018 — two of the festivals I remember jamming out to Jungle the most. Coachella 2015 was where I first got to experience their modern soul — completely unaware their stage show featured a band this full of performers.

The band kicks off a tour a few weeks before they play Coachella, touring through the U.S. through the end of April before a European jaunt in May. After Bonnaroo in June, they return to Europe for a couple festival stops there. You can watch them perform old jam “Platoon” at the El Rey at the bottom of this post.
