Lollapalooza 2017 lineup: Arcade Fire, Muse, The Killers, Chance the Rapper

The Lollapalooza 2017 lineup is here, and it’s pretty stacked.

Headlining this year’s festival are Arcade Fire, Muse, The Killers, and Chance the Rapper for one of the few rock-heavy top lines this year. The fest place August 3 to August 6 at Grant Park in Chicago, Ill. The festival serves as a massive homecoming for Chance, who has blown up massively over the past 18 months and is a true hero in his home city. That set will be one of the most intriguing festival sets of the year because of it.

Other acts on the bill include blink-182, The xx, alt-J, Justice, Cage the Elephant, Wiz Khalifa, The Shins, DJ Snake, Run the Jewels, Liam Gallagher, Ryan Adams, Kaskade, Spoon, and many more. The festival is celebrating its 21st year (there was a hiatus in the late ’90s until a return in 2003) and it’s got one of the better lineups of the year.

There are quite a number of acts on the lower lines I haven’t seen on that many festival bills that are worth checking out. There’s Elohim, Harriet Brown, Madeintyo, Flint Eastwood, and Sofi Tukker to name a few.

Four-day general admission passes to Lollapalooza are sold out. Single-day tickets are available for $120.00 plus fees. Four-day VIP passes are available for $2,200, with single-day VIP priced at $650.00. Those tickets all go on sale Wednesday, March 22 at 8 AM Pacific Time.
