Lucius shares gorgeous cover of Tame Impala’s “Eventually”

Lucius

Tame Impala’s “Eventually” is one of my favorite songs of the last 10 years, and certainly one of the best breakup songs over that time as well. It’s a nearly flawless song if there ever was one, and one that would be hard to tackle by another artist, but indie folk duo Lucius have done so, and have done the song justice.

The cover is the latest song to drop from Lucius’ upcoming acoustic record NUDES, which drops March 2 via Mom + Pop Records. Their lush harmonies are fantastic, and beautifully applied to this Tame Impala cover. They also keep things pretty psychedelic. Give it a listen below:

The album also coincides with an acoustic tour that kicks off with three Los Angeles gigs at Largo at the Coronet from March 3 through March 5. All three shows are already sold out, as are most of the gigs on the tour unsurprisingly. See below to see the full slate of tour dates from Lucius.
