Luna Shadows shares new video for “Cherry”

One of our favorite discoveries of 2016 has been Los Angeles-based alt-pop act Luna Shadows. On Wednesday, she shared the second video from her exquisite debut Summertime EP for the song “Cherry.”

The production of the video comes from the Ride or Cry Collective. They are the people behind the weekly Emo Night that packs The Echo and Echoplex the first Tuesday every month. They’ve done a great job at honing on in Luna Shadows’ aesthetic in the video for both “Cherry” and “Hallelujah California,” the first video they produced in tandem. The Summertime EP featured production from Thom Powers of The Naked & Famous and Brad Hale of NowNow. Buy it on vinyl just like we did.

We saw Luna Shadows’ first live performance at Bardot’s School Night earlier this year and she really blew us away. We can’t wait to see what more she has in store for us. “If you live in LA, pay extra close attention this month… no reason,” it says in an e-mail that accompanied the new video to those signed up for her newsletter. We can’t wait.
