Music Tastes Good 2018 lineup: New Order, James Blake headline

The Music Tastes Good 2018 lineup is out — and it shows the festival is taking things to new heights in their third year.

Going from three days to two, the festival will be headlined by New Order and James Blake. The festival takes place Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 at Marina Green Park in Long Beach.

On Aug. 9, Music Tastes Good 2018 announced the incredible addition of Janelle Monae to their Sunday bill.

Other names on the lineup include Joey Bada$$, Broken Social Scene, Santigold, The Black Angels, Lizzo, Parquet Courts, Lil B, Princess Nokia, The Church, Sun Kil Moon, Blake Mills, Big Thief,  Cherry Glazerr, Bill Callahan, and Hailu Mergia. You can view the full lineup at the bottom of this page.

Joey Bada$$ is easily the most mainstream hip-hop name this festival has ever billed. In past years, the hip-hop on the lineup was either something throwback like Digable Planets or something on the fringes like Big Freedia. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of draw he brings to the fest.

Two-day general admission tickets are priced at $175, with two-day VIP passes priced at $300. Single-day general admission passes are priced at $75, with single-day VIP passes priced at $175. Payment plans are also available. Get your tickets now!
