Natalie Prass drops “Lost”, adds September gig at Troubadour

Natalie Prass is a month away from dropping her sophomore album and just shared the vulnerable third single from the new record. And she’s announced an LA gig for this fall!

Titled “Lost”, the lush and heartbreaking ballad is the new song that most closely resembles her folksy debut record, though it still is tinged in R&B the way many of the new songs are.

“’Lost’ is about putting your foot down in a relationship when enough is enough,” Prass said of the song via a press release. “It’s the journey of getting engulfed in another person’s energy, good and bad, and ultimately understanding the other person is out to hurt you and not there to love you back.”

Listen to “Lost” below:

Prass drops The Future And The Past on June 1 via ATO Records. In addition to the new single, she’s announced a fall tour that includes a Saturday, September 29 gig at the Troubadour. She wowed us with spectacular performances at the Moroccan Lounge and SXSW back in March, so we’re glad to get another dose of her later in the year!

Tickets to see Natalie Prass at the Troubadour on September 29 are priced at $16.00 and go on sale Friday, May 4 at 10 AM Pacific Time. It’s an all ages show with doors opening at 8 PM. Stella Donnelly is opening.
