Now, Now share new video for “SGL”

Spotify Discover Weekly has been a reliable friend lately. One of my recent discoveries via the curated playlist was Minnesota electro-pop group Now, Now. And now, they’ve got a new single.

The first Now, Now song I heard was this remix of their song “Roommates”. It came on when I was in the pool and had that playlist on shuffle, and its unexpected build caught me by surprise and I quickly added it to my favorites.

Now, Now is Cacie Dalager and Brad Hale. After a revolving cast of collaborators, they’ve reverted back to being just a duo. Dalager’s vocals are a bit Michelle Branch-ish — especially on the latest track.

They’ve dropped the video for the new single “SGL” via Nylon. The song seems like a more pop-focused tune than some of their more experimental work in the past.

Now, Now plays the KROQ presented High and Low Festival on Saturday, September 9 in San Bernardino at the NOS Center. Don’t miss them, it could be a while until they’re back in SoCal!
