Alt-rock juggernauts Phantogram just blew away the ALT Summer Camp crowd in Long Beach this past weekend, and will be back in the SoCal area next month! The duo will headline a Saturday, September 21 gig at the Fox Theater in Pomona.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Phantogram live 15-plus times and they never fail to impress. Nobody has swag quite like frontwoman and all-around bad ass Sarah Barthel. The chemistry with fellow founding member Josh Carter is undeniable and it’ll be a great show to catch as we anticipate the release of their fourth full-length record.
The band just dropped a new music video late last month for the song “Into Happiness”, the lead single from their upcoming new album that’s still yet to be announced. If you’re already a fan of the band, you’ll definitely dig the tune. Find it at the bottom of this post.
The pair’s show in Pomona comes a day before they’ll take the stage at Life is Beautiful 2019 in downtown Las Vegas. I remember seeing them at that same festival in 2014 right as they were starting to really blow up. Now they’re playing late-night sets at festivals right before the headliners.
Tickets to see Phantogram at the Fox Theater in Pomona go on sale Friday, August 9 at 10 AM Pacific Time and are $35.00. There is a pre-sale beginning Thursday, August 8 at 10 AM and it runs until 10 PM using the password FUEGO. It’s an all ages show that starts at 9 PM.
