Aussie pop star Betty Who took to the Fonda Theatre back-to-back nights this past weekend, joined by rising NYC indie-pop duo Loote! We were there Saturday night to capture some of the magic of the show.
Betty Who always delivers a mesmerizing high-octane show, and she lived up to that Saturday. She was accompanied by a talented live band and energetic dancers with whom she interacted throughout the show. She brings an amazing presence to the stage — and not just because of her six-foot-plus height but also because of her magnetic smile and charm.
She dropped her latest full-length record Betty in February, her first as an independent artist since parting ways with RCA in 2017. You could tell how happy she is with the new direction as she leaned heavily into the album, performing the entire record.
Check out our photos from the show, along with some of opener Loote — who is making waves of their own.
