Primavera In The City shows announced, bookending Primavera Sound Los Angeles’ inaugural fest

Primavera Sound Los Angeles finally touches down September 16-18 at Los Angeles State Park for its inaugural U.S. date. The festival’s origins began in Barcelona starting in 2001, taking place annually there, with plans to kick off in Los Angeles in 2020, following a June 2019 announcement. We all know what happened in 2020, so years later the fest is finally coming to the City of Angels.

As part of the celebration, the festival organizers announce Primavera In The City, with 10 of the lineup’s artists playing additional shows before and after the main weekend. Iconic LA venues from small clubs to historic theaters will keep the party going from September 13 -20. The artists include Giveon, Darkside, Stereolab, Drain Gang, Little Jesus & Divino Niño, Bad Gyal, Special Interest, Jehnny Beth, Tim Hecker and Chai with the official dates and venues below:

The main festival lineup for Primavera Sound includes Arctic Monkeys, Nine Inch Nails, Lorde, James Blake, Mitski, Darkside, Clairo, Khruangbin and 50 other artists at LA State Historic Park, September 16-18. Three-day, two-day and single day tickets are available, and the official lineup is below.
