Tei Shi drops new song “How Far,” debut album out March

New York-based indie pop artist Tei Shi has shared a track from her upcoming debut album and it’s a promise of what you can expect from the record.

“How Far” features the songstress pairing her sexy vocals with an equally alluring guitar riff on a song that shows she’s grown since dropping the hit single “Bassically” in 2014. The track is one of many on the Buenos Aires born artist’s upcoming debut album Crawl Space (out March 31 via Downtown Records) that should be on your sexy-time playlists. I received an advance copy of the record and have been listening to it non-stop and we will run a review of the album closer to its release. This is the first track shared from the record since the synth-heavy “Keep Running,” another quality track.

“‘How Far’ talks about the process of attempting to change one another in a relationship, and the final desperate point — the last attempt — before acceptance,” Tei Shi told The FADER, who dropped the track Thursday morning. Listen to the track below:

Tei Shi will be in Los Angeles next month, opening for  at The Novo on March 23. Tickets to that show are still available and are priced at $21.50. It’s a killer double-header that should have you dancing the entire time, so don’t miss out.
