I saw Ja Rule and Ashanti perform at The Novo a few years back on actual Valentine’s Day and was wildly impressed by how tight their show was after all these years. It’s easy to forget that between the two of them they had so many fucking hits, but seeing them perform them one after another in person brought all the memories back of hearing their songs come on the radio and TRL.
What better way to enjoy a night out with your special someone than reliving your glory days alongside Ja Rule and Ashanti? They’re not always there when you call, but they’re always on time, and they’ll give you your all. There’s honestly no better place in LA to see nostalgic live rap and R&B shows as The Novo, which has cultivated a dope scene in recent years with shows like this.
