British indie rockers The Wombats are at the Fonda Theatre this Friday night and we have a pair of tickets to give away!
I first discovered The Wombats a handful of years ago and since first catching them live have been a huge fan. They bring insane energy to their live shows and go hard every time. Their set at Firefly 2016 was one of my favorites of the whole weekend and they made the most of their time on the main stage in front of a big crowd.
The Liverpool band is currently touring in support of their upcoming new album Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, which drops February 9. It’s their first album since 2015’s Glitterbug, and their fourth full-length studio record overall. The lead single “Lemon to a Knife Fight” is a banger like they’ve come to be known for (listen at the bottom if you don’t believe me).
