Wet shares two new songs, Fonda date around the corner

Indie pop group Wet has shared a couple new tracks. We’re hoping to get a taste of them live when they come to the Fonda Theatre in a few weeks.

The group is touring in support of their major-label debut Don’t You, which dropped this January. The two new songs “The Middle” and “Turn Away” were shared via The FADER on Thursday.

“These songs are about being stuck in in-between places on a few levels,” the band wrote in an email to The FADER. “Being in the ambiguous place between the end of a relationship and whatever is next. Our country being between presidents and feeling the collective anxiety while everyone waits to see what kind of place this is going to be in the next few years. Being between album cycles right now but still touring on Don’t You. Everything feels very up in the air.”

Wet plays the Fonda Theatre on Saturday, November 5. Tickets are priced at $22.50 and are still available. Doors to the show open at 8 PM and the show starts at 9 PM. Demo Taped and Buck serve as openers.
