Cashmere Cat gives preview of Coachella show at intimate 1720 warehouse

Cashmere Cat

Last Saturday night, fans from all over Southern California lined up in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles to experience acclaimed dance/electronic artist Cashmere Cat’s highly anticipated Princess Catgirl tour with special guest experimental electronic artist umru opening. With very few tour dates set, everyone traveled from all parts of California to experience Cashmere Cat live. The spacious 1720 warehouse was the perfect venue to house the large number of fans who journeyed from all over to experience this live set.

The opener umru got the crowd going with his unique set of new wave electronic and live remixes. Even though his equipment failed mid-set and required a short break to repair, he came back in full force with crowd favorites to get everyone dancing once more, including a Celine Dion remix.

Cashmere Cat came out soon after to the screams of a full house. To the delight of the audience, his set comprised of new and old favorites, along with fun surprises such as live mixes of 80’s hits and Daft Punk’s “One More Time.” After a hilarious rendition of “Con Te Partiro” for all the Stepbrother fans in the audience, Cashmere Cat closed out the show with a roaring encore set, leaving all his fans amazed. Cashmere Cat dropped his second full-length record Princess Catgirl back in September, and this was the only LA show in support of the record.

While his Los Angeles set closed out his recent leg of touring, be sure to catch Cashmere Cat on the rest of his long-awaited tour, and be sure to catch his set at Coachella 2020. This is a show you don’t want to miss.
