The 10th anniversary schedule has dropped, and a few things were shuffled around when it was announced Queens of the Stone Age will be replaced by Cage the Elephant due to an accident.
Solange moves from Saturday’s lineup to closing Sunday opposed by The Who. I’m a bit bummed by this because I’m taking my 7-year-old niece to Saturday of Outside Lands and I knew she would have a blast watching her epic choreography and just enjoy the whole show. Saturday is still packed with talented female-led acts, from Warpaint to Joseph to The Japanese House to MUNA. And she hears Cage the Elephant on the radio, so that’s a win.
One of the weirdest conflicts is that they booked the Gorillaz at the same time as alt-J — surely there’s a huge overlap between those two fan bases. To see the whole schedule, click here.
