Interpol add El Rey warm-up gig to September

Didn’t get tickets to the sold-out Interpol show at Los Angeles Historic Park at the end of the month? Now you’ve got another opportunity to swoop tickets to a much more intimate show.

The New York City rockers will play a warm-up gig on Thursday, September 28 at the intimate and remarkable El Rey Theatre. Days later, on September 30, they will play their iconic record Turn On The Bright Lights in its entirety, in celebration of the album’s 15th anniversary.

The band has been quiet as of late, mostly while frontman Paul Banks toured his Banks & Steelz side project with Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA.  The band had previously said we can expect the band’s sixth record to come out sometime in 2018. Perhaps fans at the upcoming shows will get a preview of what the new album will hold?

Tickets to see Interpol at the El Rey are priced at $50.00 and go on sale Friday, September 15, at 10 AM Pacific Time. The show is scheduled to start at 9:30 PM.
