Show Spotlight: FKJ at the Shrine Expo Hall, August 5

Do you know the best cure for a case of the Mondays? Dancing. Next Monday, French multi-instrumentalist and producer/singer FKJ (French Kiwi Juice) is bringing the medicine in the form of a headline show at the Shrine Expo Hall!

FKJ blew away back-to-back weekend crowds at Coachella earlier this year, and his show at The Novo was one of the hottest tickets as part of Goldenvoice’s April shows around the fest. He blends funk and house vibes seamlessly and has collaborated with a wide array of hot artists across pretty much every genre.

His collaboration with Masego has blown the fuck up, but he’s also done some great work with the likes of Tom Misch and Jordan Rakei, and has also given his own take on excellent songs from Liane La Havas and The Temptations.

Tickets to the FKJ show at the Shrine Expo Hall are still available. There are few venues that are a better fit for this kind of show, with its wide open GA floor section. It is an 18-and-over show and tickets are priced at $39.50.
