Two of pop’s young up-and-comers are teaming up for a gig at the El Rey Theatre next week and we’re giving away a pair of tickets to the show! Sigrid will headline on April 16 in between her Coachella performances and she’s bringing along another favorite of ours, CYN!
Norwegian pop singer Sigrid exploded on the scene last year when she dropped “Don’t Kill My Vibe” — which showcases her vast vocal abilities. If you’re a fan of Maggie Rogers, Lapsley or Morgan Saint, Sigrid is 100 percent right up your alley.
I caught CYN at School Night at Bardot last October opening for fellow Coachella 2018 act BORNS and was wowed by her sound as well. Her song “Only With You” has been in regular rotation since I first heard it that night, and it made my 100 Favorite Songs of 2017 playlist.
