Los Angeles’ own SWIMM are bringing their Love You Down Festival back next February, and they’re joining forces with fellow LA indie rock favorites Warpaint!

The festival will take place at the Echoplex and The Echo on Thursday, February 7 and Friday, February 8. Both Warpaint and SWIMM will perform both nights of the festival, with 14 bands across three stages, as well as eight DJs, live art installations, tarot card readers, and other very East LA type things. The event is meant to celebrate the East LA music scene, which is full of talent.

The lineup is curated by SWIMM and Jenny Lee Lindberg of Warpaint (under her stage name Jennylee). Warpaint is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the band’s existence with these shows. They are one of the most amazing live bands currently out there. I’m sure they’ll be playing some deep cuts that span their 15 years at these shows. Warpaint delivered one of the best sets of Desert Daze 2018 and they haven’t played a proper LA headline show since playing the Santa Monica Pier last summer.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 16 at 10 AM Pacific Time. Two-day passes for the festival cost $60.00. Single-day passes are $35.00. The festival is 18-and-over and starts at 6 PM.
