Brooklyn lectro-R&B outfit Wet have big plans for 2019 — including a Wet tour with Kilo Kish. If you’re in LA, circle March 27 on your calendars, because the group will be playing the Belasco Theater that night.
It’s a co-headline tour with rising singer Kilo Kish, making this a helluva bill. Their record Still Run that dropped in July via Columbia Records is exquisite. Past shows at the El Rey and Air and Style 2018 stand out as favorites of mine. The group just wrapped up opening for Florence + The Machine in Europe.
Wet frontwoman Kelly Zutrau has a way of crafting deeply personal songs that hit you right in the feels. Still Run is chockfull of those kinds of tunes, crossing genre lines. The song “Lately” is one of my favorite of the year and tugs at the heartstrings.
The Wet and Kilo Kish co-headline tour kicks Feb. 24 in Atlanta and runs through 26 cities, concluding Mar. 30 in Tempe, Ariz. They play the Belasco Theater on Wednesday, March 27. They also have a SoCal date Friday, March 29 at the Observatory in Santa Ana.
Tickets to see Wet and Kilo Kish at the Belasco on March 27 go on sale Friday, December 7 at 10 AM Pacific Time and are $35.00. It is an all-ages show.
