Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus supergroup boygenius announce gig at Wiltern

Singer-songwriters Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus have joined forces for not just a triple-bill tour, but also as the supergroup boygenius.

After booking a tour together, the three artists decided to write together. Musical magic ensued, and a prospective tour single evolved into a six-track EP. The trio’s self-titled debut EP will drop Friday, Nov. 9 via Matador.

To hold us over until then, boygenius has released three tracks, one helmed by each artist. Stream “Stay Down,” “Me and My Dog” and “Bite the Hand” in all their harmonized, heart-wrenching glory below.

Although Baker, Bridgers and Dacus will tour together this fall, they reportedly will perform their own sets, rather than as boygenius. Of course, one can hope/presume that the trio will perform together at some point during the show.

The Baker, Bridgers and Dacus tour concludes in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on November 30.

Tickets to see Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers with Lucy Dacus at The Wiltern go on sale Friday, August 24 at 10 a.m. at Live Nation for $32.50 plus fees. Live Nation and CIti Cardmember presales will start Thursday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m.
