Portugal. The Man announce August gig at Shrine Auditorium

Portugal. The Man are playing Coachella 2018 — but that isn’t the only chance you’ll have to catch them in southern California this year!

The alternative rock kingpins will be playing a much-anticipated gig at the Shrine Auditorium on Friday, August 10 [with no other gigs that weekend, are we locking them in for Outside Lands 2018?]. The band will also be joined by rising songwriter Cuco as an opening act.

There is nothing we can do but praise how good Portugal. The Man is live. Outside of U2, they were the best act I saw at Bonnaroo 2018. Their live show has grown leaps and bounds in recent years in support of their heralded 2017 record Woodstock, which featured the summer anthem “Feel It Still”. Their light show would make any top DJ jealous, and they jam out harder than any alt-rock radio band out there.

Tickets to see Portugal. The Man at the Shrine Auditorium on August 10 go on sale Friday, February 9 at 10 AM Pacific Time. Tickets are priced at $29.50, $49.50, and $69.50. There is a Goldenvoice pre-sale Thursday, February 8 at 10 AM PT with the password FEELIT.
